We opened in September 2004 and can seat 100 people at a time. We do functions, Christmas party bookings, birthdays, corporate lunches, outside catering, take away and delivery service. For people eating in we serve everyone from locals, families, couples and tourists for lunch and dinner, for those taking our food away we offer 20% off everything on our menu.
We hold the AAA guide of excellence - Award of excellence 2007 and 2008 for exceeding in the expectation of high quality food, service and cleanliness of the Bamboo Garden establishment.
Our company’s environmental policy states we need to be as environmentally friendly as possible: recycle, energy saving schemes, reduce water use, minimising amount off waste etc and we have a certificate of waste management. Staff training goes from September onwards - Our skills pledge in literacy and numeracy by department for innovation, universities and skills means Jane personally ensures her staff are trained in these areas. She also has a ‘Lead’ certificate by Lancaster University Management School.

We serve authentic Chinese food freshly cooked on the premesis. All our food is freshly prepared on our kitchen, we use only the freshest ingredients and only cook to order.
We have been doing outside catering for several years, in fact we were doing outside catering for the Lancaster University Management School when we opened.
